Denver is home to some of the best museums in the country and the art preservation at these centers is fabulous. If you want to visit all the museums there are you will have to take an entire month off work just to walk through these places.

The Black American west museum on California Street is opened from September through May from 10 AM to 2PM while from June to August from 10 AM to 5 PM. The museum only opens from Tuesday to Saturday and has charges of $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and $6 for children.

The Byers-Evans house museum is another crowd churner. Open throughout the year except on Monday's from 11AM - 3PM the museum offers guided tours at 11AM, 12.30PM and 2PM. $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for children is the entry fees and children under 6 years of age are free to enter without tickets.

Chamberlin Observatory on East Warren Avenue is the perfect destination for tourists on Denver CO travel. It is a historic landmark in Denver and was built in 1890. It hosts events like Star Parties and public is invited to all events free of cost. Denver Botanic Gardens on York Street are another treat for science following people and are open throughout the year except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

History buffs can visit Colorado Historical Society, which is situated in Broadway and houses the Colorado History museum alongside Stephen H. Hart Library. It is a moving collection of art from the Colorado history. Denver Art museum on Avenue Parkway has a huge collection of art from around the world and is open all year except on Mondays and Holidays.

For off the charts specialized museum Denver has Denver Firefighters Museum. Situated on Tremont Place it is open from Mondays until Saturdays between 10Am-4PM. Adults, seniors and children are charged at $6, $5 and $4 respectively. For the same rates, Tourists who travel to Denver can also visit the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys on the Gaylord Street.
