As part of the Civic Center Cultural Complex, Denver Art museum is an art museum best known for its collection of American Indian art. It boasts the largest art collection between Kansas City and the West Coast, with more than 60,000 works of art. As unique exhibitions at DAM change frequently, Denver Art Museum is never the same.

The Denver Art Museum features two buildings in one museum: Hamilton Building and North Building. Denver Art Museum was open in 1971 what is known as the North Building today. If you decide on exploring the museum, equip yourself with the hours info. The Denver Art Museum is open from 10am to 5pm from Tuesday to Thursday, 10am to 10pm on Fridays, 10am to 5pm on Saturdays and 12pm to 5pm on Sundays. The aforementioned closing time only applies for Hamilton Building of the museum. The North Building closes at 5pm daily. During Mondays and most major holidays including Thanksgiving and Christmas, the museum is closed.
