Denver is historically a mining town and has had long history of drinking and saloons. Legend has it that the first ever building constructed in Denver was a drinking establishment. With all the sun and natural splendor, Denver local folks are generally cheerful and jolly.

Denver is loaded with clubs and one of the primary reasons for that is the high per capita brewery count. So much so, Denver has become specialized destination for that local, Western Flavor. Most of the clubs are located at Lower Downtown or LoDo as it is commonly known in the locals. It is a hip place packed with see-and-be-seen bars alongside crowded sports bars and dance clubs.

One of the best places around is the Casino Night Heist, which is located at the Lumber Baron Inn and is perfect destination for those who seek to blend casino games, drinks and dinner. It has a beautiful laid back antique styling where guests who travel to Denver can enjoy drinks combined with fake roulette, blackjack, poker and craps. The dinner is served on the third floor, the heist occurs during this time and the guests have the option to solve the mystery by pursuing the subtle clues dropped here and there.

If you are looking for live music to mix with your drink, 15th Street Tavern is probably the place for you. It is a legendary Denver bar and mixes punk, indie, mouse and straight rock bands. There are lots and lots of cheap booze available and if you get lucky, you even might come across some touring national band, which invariably land up here because of die-hard music fan collection here.

For a simple chill night drinking and excellent bar grub, try the Bank Bar and Grill in Denver. Couple it with the fact that you have two surprise happy hours during nighttime and people it actually makes you feel guilty for drinking it so cheap.
