Denver is a favored outdoor activity center in The United States of America. Generally, if you prefer outdoor sports then spring/early summer as well as early autumn is a good time for you to travel to Denver. This because the weather is generally great during this period as well as there are many outdoor festivals held during this period.

In addition, the facts that during summers there are plenty of wildflowers and the changing colors of aspen trees in autumn force us to go outside and do some sporting activity.

This said, Denver is the home for skiing and snowboard enthusiasts from across the country during winters. Denver hosts a huge number of ski resorts and most of them are located along I-70, a 2-hour drive from Denver. The traffic is especially heavy in winters during the weekends and it is recommended you take the Ski train or the RTD bus service.
