The history of the Gothic Theatre can be traced back to the 1920's when movie palaces were built for the sole entertainment of society. The Gothic Theatre was particularly well renowned for their grand art deco which earned plenty of awards because of the classic style decoration. In 1998 the Gothic Theatre was born again when two friends who appreciate decided to purchase the building out of bankruptcy and then saving it from the wreckage. The new owners decided to retain the art deco accents and the new owners remodeled and again built up the theatre from the foundation to the roof.
