Founded in 1972, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is a mix of professional theatre, Broadway new plays and acting classes. Plus, there are various venues inside the complex. With a seating capacity of more than 10,000, the DCPA covers about 12 acres. Annually, it holds tons of shows and other events and plays host to over 750,000 domestic and international visitors. Erected in the heart of Denver's downtown shopping and dining corridor, this beautifully designed complex is a landmark in this area.
Thanks to its convenient location, you can get to the DCPA via public transportation or car with ease. If self-driving tour is more preferable for you, remember to take parking into consideration when planning your trip ahead of events.
Fortunately, parking is a breeze at the DCPA. There are two large parking facilities located very close to the complex. They are well maintained. Plus, it's always pretty easy for driving visitors to get in or out. Detailed information about these two parking garages is listed below.

Although there are lots of parking spaces inside the DPAC Garage and the Colorado Convention Center, you might find they are filled to capacity upon your arrival if you get there late. As there isn't any guaranteed parking space offered by the Complex, a number of alternative parking options next to the DCPA would be helpful. To ensure you a suitable parking space and a timely arrival to the theatre, consider the following parking lots when necessary.
In fact, a lot of surface parking lots and parking garages are available in this area. All of them are within walking distance of the complex. As for surface parking, there are five parking lots located between 14th and 15th Streets, just west of the Colorado Convention Center. Besides, these situated between Glenarm PI and Tremont PI also count as good choices.
If you prefer parking garages, then you can find two on the west of the DPAC Garage. As the nearest alternative parking options, these two parking garages are placed along Curtis Street. At the intersection of 14th and Wilton Streets, you can also find a number of parking garages. They are a little far away from the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, but still worth a shot.
