At the Lakeside amusement park in Denver, visitors are treated to lots of fun, history, excitement and charm. The lakeside amusement park is among the oldest of theme parks in the nation operated by the same family owners since the 1930s. The 2 miniature steam rains that operate here belong to the St. Louis World Fair of 1904 and wooden roller coaster from as far as back as 1940s. The huge natural lake and large trees add further splendor to the park. Parking is free and the entrance fee is also small. The all ride passes are inexpensive making it one of the most affordable theme parks in the nation. Lakeside amusement park is also clean with a balanced mix of fun and enjoyment across age profiles. Plenty of neon lights add to the beauty of the place particularly during late evening hours. Safety is assured by adequate security arrangements and visitors need not spend several hours waiting in lines for the rides.
Among the most thrilling rides at the park is the Zoom. Zoom has a limitation on height though children who are 12 years and above will easily clear the limitation. The ride provides a straight lift and free fall drop. At the top the ride provides some wonderful views and on its way down the weightless experience provides the best excitement. Though intense in nature, even younger kids do enjoy the ride.
On the flip side, some visitors have opined that the staff are not very friendly and can even be rude at times!
