
Rocky Ridge Music Center
If you wish to visit some places of creative interest during your Estes Park travel, one of the finest places in Colorado would be a trip to the Rocky Ridge Music Center. It was Beth Miller Harrod who founded the center in 1942. It is a music school located at the foot of Longs Peak in Colorado Rockies. The music center makes available summer camps for students.

The Hewes-Kirkwood Inn, a historic Rustic-style resort that has been converted to this music center is indeed a center of attraction. There are historic cabins, lodge and dining hall where most performances and social gatherings. You can come back for weekly concerts, known as ‘Music in the Mountains’. The concert is open to the community.
The entire heritage complex has been maintained and rehabilitated over the years and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. The best part is you can sit along the mountainside and hear students practicing in the woods or beside a nearby stream.
