The Denver Country Club is the most famous and oldest country club in this side of Mississippi. It was formed way back in 1887 and is now located along Cherry Creek. Aside from a good game of golf, the Denver Country Club also offers a wide array of sports venue for lawn bowling, croquet, hockey, tennis, figure skating and swimming.
If you want to have play golf in Denver Golf Club, there are certain rules and regulations that you need to adhere to. The club puts a strict guideline to their guest standards.
Dress Code:
Guests and members are required to follow a dress code. When playing golf, you should bring along appropriate golf shoes. You are not allowed to wear jeans, cargo/ baggy pants, and running shorts. In the clubhouse, you are not allowed to wear hats or caps. Dress code is businesses casual which include slacks, dress pants, dress shirts, turtlenecks and golf shorts. Dress and skirts should have the proper length.
Cell phones:
Cell phones and PDA's are not allowed inside the club property. If you tend to play golf, then just stick to playing the game. There are club land lines that you can use for calling as complimentary for its guests and members. Laptops are only allowed at private dining rooms.
Playing golf:
When playing golf, play only within the practice field. Golf carts are only allowed to be driven on the paths provided for. Never pull golf carts off the path. Members are allowed 4 hours of play on an 18 hole round. Smoking is prohibited.
